Lauren Loya, M.D.

Medical Director

Prior to establishing SB Medical Weight Loss, Dr. Loya worked as a board-certified family physician, first in Chicago, then in the Pittsburgh area.  Most recently, she was a faculty member for the UPMC Shadyside Family Medicine Residency.

Dr. Loya grew up in Greensburg, PA, southeast of Pittsburgh.  She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame.  Dr. Loya graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in 1995 and The University of Illinois at Chicago Family Medicine Residency Program in 1998.

Hollie DeLuca

Physician Assistant

Hollie Deluca graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a Master's Degree of Physician Assistant.

Hollie is licensed with Pennsylvania's State Board of Medicine and is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant.  Hollie has been working in the field of aesthetic medicine for over 6 years.

Barbara Spade graduated from The Western Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 2005 and has Allied Health degree from Clarion University.  She is licensed with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Barb has provided care at a large Pittsburgh based hospital primarily treating patients in the Hematology /Oncology Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.

She became interested in the aesthetic medicine field and has been highly trained to administer an array of aesthetic procedures under Dr. Loya.
